What is a BID - Business Improvement District?

Lancing Business Park BID

A business Improvment District is an arrangment under which local businesses plan how to improve their own business and trading environment.  Businesses identify projects which will lead to improvments in their trading environment.
This arrangment lasts for a period of five years and is only achievable once the local authority has held a legal ballot.

The BID levy is administered and collected by Adur District Council in the case of Lancing Business Park BID area and is transferred to the BID organisation to spend ONLY for projects identified by the BID. 

How to make payments to your BID account:

In person
Payments can be made at the Adur Civic Centre, Ham Road, Shoreham By-Sea, the cash office is open Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 2:30pm.
Cash should NOT be sent through the post.

On-line on the internet
You may pay on-line using a debit or credit card. Please ensure you have your BID account reference to which your payment relates.

By telephone
You may pay by phone using a Debit or Credit card by telephoning the 24 hour automated payment line on 0300 123 6002. Please ensure that you have your BID account reference to which your payment ralates.

Pay Point Facility

You can take the notice to any Pay Point Outlet or Post Office. It has a bar-code that can be read in order to take your payment.  Please allow up to 5 working days for you payment to reach us.
