Due to personal reasons Mike Botting has resigned the above post and I have taken over this role. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike for all his hard work in setting up the Business Improvement Development and initiating the on-going projects, and wish him all the best for the future.
So let me introduce myself. My name is Ken Green and the previous 19 years of my working life has been spent at Adur District Council in Commerce Way on the Business Park, although when I started there it was known as Churchill Industrial Estate! I therefore have a reasonably good knowledge of the Park; its problems and some of the history.
The site has been subject to many changes and my job is to oversee the proposed BID projects and assist wherever possible in improving the overall standard of the Park.
One of my first tasks will be to improve the lines of communication and this will be achieved through better use of the Lancing Business Park website. I would urge you all to register your business on the website and please include your e-mail address to speed up message transfers.
My intention is to meet every business on the park, mainly so that you can get to know me and have confidence in bringing matters to my attention. I am here to help you in any way I can so long as it falls within my remit; to raise the standards of the Park and to raise awareness of the diverse business activities that can be found on the doorstep.
